The story of Kara

The idea of Kara started in 2019 and is an attempt to create a jewelry brand ethically and sustainably manufactured yet with delicate and colorful designs in mind. 

Ditte Gren designs each piece in Denmark, the silver parts are then handcrafted and brought to life by artisans in an ethical and fair-trade workshop in Jaipur, India.

Back in the workshop in Denmark every jewelry is added beautiful colors using resin, semi-precious stone, and freshwater pearls.
